HRMA of Western New England’s Board of Directors is thrilled to welcome you to our kickoff meeting for our new season IN PERSON at The Castle of Knights in Chicopee on Monday, September 19th at 4:30pm. This upcoming season of HRMA programming will feature a blend of in-person and virtual programming, as we strive to bring you high quality topics and speakers AND the opportunity to spend time networking together once again. At our first meeting of the season, Ameila Holstrom, Partner at Skoler Abbott in Springfield MA, will join us to discuss the latest legal updates at both the state and federal level, including:
Wage and Hour Update, including a recent SJC decision regarding the non-payment of wages that changes the legal landscape
A new type of employment claim related to personnel files
PFML update: what questions and issues have we seen come up over the last year
EEOC updates for COVID-19 guidance and more.
