In today’s dynamic business landscape, it is critical to the success of HR professionals to learn and master competencies beyond traditional human resource skills and to ensure HR operations are properly aligned with overall business goals and objectives.

1:00 – 4:00: Module #2 – Employee and Labor Relations

This session will cover the complexities of employee and labor relations as it relates to organizational culture. You’ll learn how to leverage your business acumen to resolve employee issues, while preserving credibility and mitigating organizational risk.

Day Two:

8:30 – 11:45: Module #3- Compensation

In this session you’ll learn the core aspects of compensation and how to execute a compensation strategy. We will teach you how to navigate and resolve complex compensation issues and ensure equity across your organization.

12:30 – 2:30: Module #4 – Benefit plan design and oversight

This session will cover what role you will play in benefit plan design and execution, including leveraging broker relations, cost containment and employee communication.

2:45 – 4:00: Module #5 – Building Financial Acumen

Yariela Brandao, Vice President People Strategy, Consulting Services, Compensation and HR Group

In this session you’ll learn the basics of financial acumen, including how to read financial statements and how to use financial data to influence decisions.
